MR DEVAR

The late Mr Jugadeesan Devar, began his cultural journey with the Nydoo Family as, he was Rani’s art teacher  at school;  and their work relationship grew into friendship through the promotion of arts and culture.  Anusia has fond memories growing up in the hallways of the SABC as Rani was a regular on Mr Devar’s popular radio show “Saturday Mirror”, which covered all things Indian.

Mr. T. P. Naidoo
began his cultural journey with the Naidoo Sisters as Compeers, promoters and in other capacities in the Sisters’ tours and various performances.  Mr Naidoo went on to create and head up the Indian Academy of South Africa
