Surana Sarjoo was in the same group as
Renusha and they performed beautifully together. Surana was one of the Institute’s youngest

all that she does. She has participated in most of ADI’s major Durban Events
and the 1995 tour of Mauritius.

and an equally brilliant student and dancer.
She performed for Queen Elizabeth II; Pepsi Cola concerts, and several
other prestigious events. She continues
to make her mark in the world as she grew up to be a Medical Doctor and is
currently studying toward her MBA.
A
high achiever all-round, she excels at everything she does- and was no
different as our student.

consummate artist, and we are proud to announce that she has continued with her
performances both locally and internationally.
She has a deep and abiding love and respect for the artform of
Dance. She is also a Pharmacist by
profession.

Manisha Pillay has always been as cute as a
button – it is no wonder that she was crowned 2nd princess at Miss
South Africa 2008. Always articulate as
sharp as a razor- she exudes the humility and confidence that is synonymous
with the deeply cultural Badal family that she hails from. She is currently
studying towards obtaining her Masters
Degree in Science with the University of Johannesburg.

pro-bono student after expressing an interest in the Artform in 1992. She studied Kathak, a North Indian Classical

the Institute’s International tours, and profiled in the “True Love” Magazine
in 2000, as a young achiever. Her
parents could otherwise not afford this kind of experience for their daughter. Rani and Anusia, together with the staff of
Cato Manor Technical College, and later the institute were constantly involved
in fundraising efforts to ensure Princess’ success. Later, a few of her friends, as well as, her
brother Leon joined the Institute
